The most common settings for your encoder's audio configuration are shown below. You can adjust for your setup as necessary.
- Format: AAC (Using mp3 can potentially cause some viewers to not be able to hear the audio. If you are using an encoder, such as FMLE for PC, that does not support AAC we strongly suggest trying an encoder that does, such as SSLE, vMix, Wirecast, etc.)
- Channels: Stereo (required for iOS compatibility)
- Sample Rate: 44100 Hz (required for iOS compatibility)
- Bit Rate: 128 kbps
- Volume Level: Set in the middle to avoid distortion. If you notice distortion, try lowering the volume in the encoder, sound board, or computer microphone settings.
