If you have been through all the fine tuning steps and all seems to be working perfectly on your end (and all has been reported to be working on our end as it should be), you may want to test the overall network to see if there are any network bottleneck issues between your broadcast system and our streaming servers. To test this, you can use a traceroute software to check the status of the network over time. Below are 2 software options that allow you to get a long term report of the status of the network (as opposed to a brief "speed test" or basic traceroute or ping report that shows just a brief snapshot of the network).
WinMTR (My Trace Route) for PC (latest version is v092 as of 11/24/2014)
Once installed and running, you will use the start of your RTMP connection URL as the URL to analyze. This will either be "netformzcdn.com" or "iX.netformzcdn.com" (where X will be a number, for example, i3.netformzcdn.com).
MTR (My Trace Route) for Mac (latest version is 0.82 as of 11/24/2014)
Once installed and running, you will use the start of your RTMP connection URL as the URL to analyze. Simply replace "example.com" in the sample code with "netformzcdn.com" or "iX.netformzcdn.com" (where X will be a number, for example, i3.netformzcdn.com).
MAC NOTE: To run a continuous report on the Mac, you will need to remove the "-r" from the command as show in the example at the link above. For example, change "sudo /usr/local/sbin/mtr -r example.com" into "sudo /usr/local/sbin/mtr example.com" (where you replace example.com with your "netformzcdn.com" domain as described above).
The best time, and really the only time, to get helpful data is to run this test during periods where you are experiencing issues. Once you run the report for several minutes (or longer), please copy/paste the data from the report into a support ticket and include the time that the report was generated. (You may want to open up your computer's activity monitor / task monitor to ensure that the program has ended after you close it out.)
