Some streaming encoders do let you schedule your stream to have it automatically start and stop on the schedule that you set with the streaming encoder. This would enable you to have your stream start and stop automatically for you.

For instance, a hardware encoder that has a scheduling feature is the DataVideo NVS-25.

Most encoders (hardware or software) that do not have a scheduling feature can still be pretty easy to start streaming by clicking a button on the hardware encoder or opening the streaming software program and clicking a button.

The Multi-Platform Stream Distribution system (available in the $79 plan) can enable you to automatically send the stream that you send to us to other platforms (such as YouTube, Twitter/Periscope, etc. or Facebook) beyond your website, apps, Roku, Apple TV, etc. This is in beta and you can contact us to request access to the Multi-Platform Stream Distribution.
